How it works
Installed outside your home, generators are permanently connected to either propane or natural gas supply and your home’s electrical service. An automatic transfer switch (ATS) continually monitors the power supply from your utility, upon an interruption it will automatically switch to power from the generator in seconds. It will run until utility service is restored then automatically shut down. 24/7 self-monitoring means power is always available whether you are home or not.
